I am incredibly excited for Christmas and have recently started making my Christmas list.  Boots are one of my favorite things about winter and this pair from Delias will definitely be one the top of my wish list.

To be honest, hair accessories have never really been my thing.  Despite everything, the turban headband trend managed to catch my interest and I am now absolutely in love.  Although my large forehead might not be the best match for this amazing hair accessory, I am determined to get this headband into my possession as soon as possible.

This style first caught my eye when I was flipping throughInstyle a few months ago.  I noticed a small article that was featuring the True Blood purse collection by Hammitt.  My heart immediately fell for the Alcide bag.

Since then, I just recently saw the most beautiful fur purse in a Fossil magazine.  Unfortunately, it's way out of my budget, but a girl can dream!

Luckily, Forever 21 came through with two perfectly acceptable and much cheaper versions!  Now I can fulfill my fur bag craving with a clear conscience!

Fair Isle Sweater

I woke up yesterday morning to a light layer of frost that covered the ground.  Between the slowly changing weather and the rapid arrival of Christmas magazines in the mail, my mind’s been continuously wandering to one of my favorite cold season staples: sweaters.

This season’s sweaters are mostly the thick, chunky cable knit style that goes perfectly with an amazing pair of lace-up boots.  However, one of my favorite sweater trends I have my eye on is the Fair Isle sweater trend.  No, not the dreaded tacky yarn creations of yore, but a chicer and perfectly season appropriate style, like the beautiful Ralph Lauren example above.

This sweater will be great for cozying up with and it’s much more affordable than the Ralph Lauren sweater.  After all, nothing goes better with snow and hot cocoa than a great sweater :).
